Electronic Maintenance Free Anode

The anode of a hot water storage tank is very important as it protects the tank against corrosion and pre-mature failure. Most tanks are supplied with magnesium anodes that should be checked annually and replaced if needed. The CORREX® UP system is a maintenance free electronic anode consisting of a titanium anode connected to an electronic control unit. The electronic unit has a LED indicator that provides the protection status of the system based on measurements done by the unit. This eliminates the need to physically remove and inspect the anode and internal condition of the tank and ensures optimal protection and maximum lifespan for the tank.
