The ITS-50VD3 50kW heat pump has been designed such that multiple units can be placed right next to each other for systems requiring more than 50kW of thermal energy. This modular approach has multiple advantages over single higher output units. A single 50kW can still be handled by a few guys and fits into lifts and through doors. Units like a 100kW often requires special rigging get into place. Multiple 50kW also offers better redundancy and if one units need to be removed for repairs you still have units left to do the work.
